We are the best in Łódź!!! and 3rd in our province!!!
On 26.09.2008 we have played finals of "Small Euro 2012". Our result is: 3rd place in age of 10 years in our province.
The tournament was for all teams from our province (Łódź Province). As mentioned earlier, it was for boys born in 1997 and for our age (born in 1998). Just to notice, in our province there is more then 2 500 000 people leaving. Only in final tournament there was 24 teams in our age.
We have played with the following players: Jasio Starosta i Damian Piotrowski, Wojtek Ciejka, Mateusz Walczak, Mateusz Wrześniewski, Marcin Zieliński, Michał Cichacki, Kuba Ciupa, Damian Henc, Krzysio Sut, Bartek Bartczak, Daniel Zakrzewski and Michał Karlikowski.
First we have played in group of 4 teams with: UKS Witonianka, Skalnik Sulejów i SP Lipnik. We have won our group with the following results:
ŁKS - UKS Witonianka 19:0 ŁKS - SP Lipnik 9:0 ŁKS - Skalnik Sulejów 6:0
Surprising result if we take in to account that each game was just 20 minutes long. But that was an easy part of the tournament.
In quarter-finals we have met MKP Zgierz. It was not easy game for us because it was just after the lunch. It was hard and in regular time it was 2:2. The 3 penalties have been executed and we won 3:1.

In semi-final we have faced team from Tomaszów Mazowiecki called RKS Lechia 1923. We have never met them before. It was quite difficult game for us as our opponent played very aggressive football, not always playing fair. Also referee has not seen our goal which we thing was correctly scored. Finally we have lost 1:2.

After lost semi-final we had to fight for 3rd price. This time we met Pelikan Łowicz. This was easy game for us and we easily won 5:2.

Just to mention in the final there was no team from Łódź so we are the best in our city (population 750 000). Final game was GKS Bełchatów and RKS Lechia 1923.
Anyway this is very good result and we are happy.
